I am a librarian, teacher, and researcher, with experience in K-12 and higher ed and at school, district, and state levels.

I am highly skilled in educational technology, instructional design, preservice and in-service teacher education, and program evaluation and management. I am a strong academic researcher and writer with a Doctorate in Digital Education Leadership and several articles published in high-impact peer-reviewed journals.

In my research, I use quantitative, qualitative, and mixed methods approaches to study how educators at all levels are prepared to use technology for teaching and learning. I also study how scholars use social media, open access (OA), and open educational resources (OERs) to engage in networked participatory scholarship (NPS).
